Special Ballot and Advance Voting
Advance Voting will take place for 10 continuous days, from Wednesday October 4 to Friday October 13, 2017. Advance voting for Wards 1 & 5 will take place at:
Westend Seniors Activity Centre (Meeting Room)
9629-176 Street
1:00PM - 7:00PM
Notes: Meeting Room. Main floor. Main entrance. Equipped with ballot-marking tool for audio, visual and physical accommodations.

Special Ballot
The Special (Mail-in) Ballot packages can be requested starting on August 1, 2017. The latest you can register for a Special (Mail-in) Ballot is 4:30pm on Election Day (Monday, October 16, 2017). Special (Mail-in) Ballot packages will be mailed out following Nomination Day (September 18, 2017).
Completed Special (Mail-in) Ballots must be dropped off / mailed and received by the Election and Census Office (16304 - 114 Avenue) by 7pm on Election Day in order to be counted.

Eligible Voters
A person is eligible to vote in an election held pursuant to this Act if the person

You present acceptable ID (authorized identification)

You are at least 18 years of age

You are a Canadian citizen
-
You are a resident of the City of Edmonton on Election Day (October 16, 2017)
-
You began living in Alberta on or before April 16, 2017
-
You have not already voted in the current election
